We consider the SPQR as our friend, but we would like to have some information about the embargo against the SPQR by Atlantis.
I read this message on the MW-forum: http://microwiki.co.cc/forum/showthread.php?tid=196
As member of the AMU we also recognize Atlantis, therefore I woul like to have some information about the "truth" of this allegations.
We were informed a few month ago that Atlantis isn't the same micronation as the original Republic of Atlantis, H.E. Lucio Giunio Bruto
would give is some more information about that but we didn't have.

The Senate and People of Rome learned with astonishment and dismay at the public statement from the prime ministry of the suspected micro-nation of the Republic of Atlantis, which, as you know, has never been recognized by us for a series series of unseemly events that concern them.

Any official act by the institutions of Atlantis against our nation will be regarded as a serious and reckless act, because not supported by valid reasons, as it affects the lives of the two peoples, because they are not born in facts and events a public context and diplomat, and it follows that the Senate and People of Rome will in the right time and in the right way decisions required to do so.

Il Senato ed Popolo di Roma apprende con stupore e costernazione la dichiarazione pubblica fatta dal primo ministero della presunta micro nazione della Repubblica di Atlantis, la quale, come voi sapete, non è stata mai da noi riconosciuta per una serie di questioni disdicevoli che li la riguardano.
Nonostante ciò, il nostro stato non ha mai ritenuto di provvedere ad azioni diplomatiche contro la suddetta Atlantis, non ritenendo serio offrire loro qualsiasi tipo di riconoscimento, anche nella forma di azione sanzionatoria contro la stessa.
Gli eventi portati alla luce dal loro primo ministro denotano una questione esclusivamente privata avvenuta in un momento privato, e non pubblico, che nella sua sostanza e nella sua importanza riguarda la vita personale dei due soggetti e non quella dei duoi stati.
La diplomazia non è un gioco da bambini, ma necessita di quella necessaria responsabilità che è alla basa delle relazioni tra micro nazioni, come tra l'altro avviene tra nazioni.
Un eventuale atto ufficiale da parte delle istituzioni di Atlantis contro la nostra nazione sarà considerato come un atto gravissimo e sconsiderato, in quanto non sostenuto da motivazioni valide, in quanto non interessa la vite dei due popoli, in quanto non sono fatti ed eventi nati in un contesto pubblico e diplomatico, e ne consegue che il Senato ed il Popolo di Roma valuterà nei giusti tempi e nei giusti modi le decisioni da prendersi a riguardo.
Vi ringraziamo per l'atto diplomaticamente corretto di avvertirci di quanto avviene, in quanto nessuna notizia ufficiale da parte di Atlantis, in piena contravvenzione della diplomazia internazionale, è giunta a noi.
Il Senato ed il Popolo di Roma richiede a tutti coloro a cui l'embargo è stato proposto di valutare la serietà, il valore dei contatti diplomatici e l'autorevolezza di Res Publica, micronazione affermata da anni, e membra della LOSS e dell'UMI.

Thank you for the full explenation, this is a full private matter between two persons and not from the SPQR. As a friend of the SPQR and a member of the LoSS we don't support the diplomatic embargo. I hope that Atlantis will withdrawn the embargo.
